![]() She worked hard to be a top student, and she wanted people, especially “Half-a-Witch Willow”, who later we learn was her former best friend, to know that. Amity, even from the beginning, was a bully because of a superiority complex. The fact of the matter is that you can take three people, each with similar goals and abilities, and portray them all differently because chances are they are different kinds of people. To say that Andrea and Amity are one and the same is like saying that Buford (Phineas and Ferb) and Nelson (The Simpsons) are ALSO one and the same - it’s like saying ALL bully characters or ALL characters that fit within a specific trope or character model is the same. It’s less about people being delusional I think, and more about them mistaking character tropes for personality. i got an ask anonymous ask i answered an ask drawing tips with some writing tips mixed in i guess seriously guys do hand stretches and exercises carpal tunnel syndrome is no laughing matter that crap takes surgery and all you people saying using references is art theft? screw off Always try to give advice and criticism a chance, but also keep in mind that there are always gonna be dorks who just don’t know what they’re talking about and should be ignored. Think of drawing as running a race - if you don’t do stretches, you’re gonna cramp no matter how hard you work.Ĥ. If you don’t, you could get carpal tunnel syndrome, and that’s just…very painful to undergo. It doesn’t even have to look GOOD, just draw something, drawing anything with effort is practice regardless of the outcome.ģ. It can be anything - your favorite character, a circle, a random creation that popped into your head, whatever you want. If you can’t, try drawing as often as you can without causing yourself to burn out. Practice makes perfect - try drawing at least one thing everyday for a while. Even the hardest concepts can be made easier if you just use a reference.Ģ. Anyone who tells you that artists don’t use references is a fucking liar, don’t listen to them, most if not everyone uses them, references are your friends.
